My Narnia

There is a deeper magic still
and the Stone Table cracks.
Your attempt to
bind me
hold me down
humiliate me
and thus
kill me
has failed in every way.
My courage is that
of a Lion,
the King of the Beasts,
who's roar moves the Earth
breaking foundations
of Terra Cotta.
Who's sharp claws
hidden in velvet paws
slice at the fabric of
Time and Realitry
(who's side are you on?)
I have died
been born
and died again for you.
NOT ANYMORE!
This Phoenix rises
for no one but
itself.
My life ends
engulfed by flames
to reincarnate a new life
for myself
and myself only.
Do not ask me to not be
for I have asked you
to not do
which has always
fallen on deaf ears.
I have mourned my birth
but now
I embrace my life!
I understand that
Darkness is to be my
companion.
He is my Heart.
He is an entity
of intellect,
of wisdom,
of truth.
I rule the Darkness,
I harness the Night
where an even deeper
more true Magic lies.
