But again he dealt me an undying blow,
He said that the sex was consensual,
He was filling the jury with all kinds of bull.

I wasn’t allowed to be there in person,
As it was feared the situation would worsen,
As I was 13, a young & mixed up teen,
To rip apart my story prosecution were very keen.

I was interviewed on camera & that was used,
I told the court of how my body he abused,
For his own perverted little kicks,
Thinking about it makes me feel quite sick.

They found him guilty of unlawful sex,
Which was wrong understandably I was vexed,
I felt dirty & that justice was not done,
It was as if they had given him back some of his fun.

I felt as though my story wasn’t believed,
By a sick rapist the whole court had been deceived,
8 months was the sentence Colin was given,
To self harming again & to drink I was driven.

I was forever looking over my shoulder,
I thought he’d get me when I was older,
I used to see his face on every man who walked by,
Because I felt guilty myself I just could not cry.

I don't know why the victim always feels guilty..but that's what happens. Strange phenominon.. when there is no control..I wish there was something I could say..or do to take it all away..(((((hugs)))))

such a sad poem I hope this isn't true. I hate
rapists the only group of people I hate them
and child abusers. Good poem but tough to
read due to the subject matter.

Awe, pix, this is so sad and tortured. I'm so sorry for
any pain and sorrow you've been forced to endure.
You are such a sweet and wonderful person.
And very, very strong. In sharing this poem you've shown that.
I am thinking of you.
(((hugs)))

I guess this one was difficult for you to write. Not the easiest of subjects to deal with.

This is a good, from the heart, write Pixie.

Luv,
