smiley eyed,
buck toothed,
nose dried,
sun dripped baby,
slips out of his mother's womb.

Penatrable pain,
the mother cursed god,
and ate her child.
Eventually that is.

First there was a moment of love,
then forgiveness,
then she was hungry.

That baby was me in a alternate life,
and I was quite upset as my eyes were sown shut.
(My mother had enough respect for me to abuse me,
with my eyes fixed in black springs. How sweet)

I died a moment later and was reborn,
into my grave as a worm,
crawling through my eye sockets,
sucking on membrane interriors.

The life of a worm is complicated.
You don't have hands for one thing,
and it is hard to flip off the birds,
who perch their nests above you,
watching you squirm.

That's really all you can do as a worm,
squirm I mean.

And the last thing I remember is a puddle's reflection,
on a rainy afternoon, of my former self,
looking down at me,
and tearing my body in two, three, four pieces.
Laughter was all that was left,
reverberating through sound wave patterns,
and sneaking into next door neighbors toilets.

There comes a point,
the point of death,
when the body fades into a stream,
and our minds expand passed any concievable explanation.
No mind.

I am that dirty stained,
foul fragrant toilet,
that my neighbor shat on this morning,
and I am the sh*t that comes out of his ass,
and ploppes into myself.

I must have died years ago,
because all of this sounds like a memory,
that I told my former self,
and today I must be the dream that my future self,
is having of my past incarnations.

And tommorrow I will wake up from this dream,
and wonder if I am alive or dead. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 312 [topic] => 7 [informant] => zenmind [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 7 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

we die a thousand deaths in one lifetime. So said an old wise man. We are born dead, says I, we must find a way to become alive. ^_^ good stuff. Always, abraham

Wow, that was ... uh ... a roller coaster ride through time and life. I like that . Some very vivid imagery, some of it a bit disturbing ... I liked that too. Well done.

Holy shi....crap Zenmind!!! A very, VERY interesting read!! A warped, yet somehow enchanting stroll through your brain. I guess we've all died in our past lives, and have been reborn into something.... weird isn't the right word for it, but that's all that's coming to me. All in all, a perfect write!! I enjoyed it very much! A twisted maze... through your profound thoughts. Excellent! I loved this. Thanks so much for sharing, and commenting so beautifully on my work!! Much love!

Your friend,

Stephy. *FdS*

Forever and ever this will be your best poem. This will be the poem that will make "blind widows" recover their sight.

I cannot quote you. You deserve the outmost awe.
