Array ( [sid] => 7496 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Falling Apart [time] => 2002-11-26 11:00:00 [hometext] => Lately I have had a lot of pressure on me in my life and sometimes I get too overwhelmed so I wrote about 2 specific topics that affect me the most. My boyfriend and my family. [bodytext] => I can't seem to put the puzzle back together
Im hangin on by a limb, next to never
It's getting harder to hold on
All the hope I once had is now gone
I think about some pain I went through-
And I'll write about how the tragedy grew
I thought i was gonna lose my baby
never thought he'd do that to me
but threats rang in my ears
and in my eyes, formed ragin tears
theres puddles fillin at my feet
with u my heart is complete
but when the painful words are said
a tear drop is shed-
i'd rather me hurt than you
cause you got a lot to live for, i wish you knew
and when i heard what you had to say
here in pain i lay
the words cuttin deep
with painful visions as i sleep
when i awake
screamin and yellin i intake
Im told nothing i do is right
there always has to be a fight
reality has come-
to many, but not to some
years have passed and i'm getting older
but my heart keeps gettin colder
shattered like glass-
it can't hold the pain, it can't last
rumors are spreadin around
no one will remember when i'm not around
you didnt care when my soul couldn't be found
all the pain has killed me inside
finally, after the many nites i've cried
my body is still, with us, here
but inside i live in fear
that i'll be phsyically damaged
you raised your fist at me and i still wonder how i managed-
you made too many mistakes-
And still you refuse to help my bruises and aches
Theres no turning back
The most important love I lack-
Parental Love is what children lean back on
But what happens if that love is gone?
Im ruined and there's no fixing me
The damage has emotionally and physically ruined me [comments] => 4 [counter] => 245 [topic] => 21 [informant] => blondienk [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

For you pal. Hope you will feel better if what you wrote here is really happening to you. Well, again here, I've gotta say this is absolutely a good work of literature.
