I wanted more then friends,

I wanted to be than one your buddies,
Why wouldn't you pay attention?

Suddenly she came along,
Suddenly my world stopped spinning,
Suddenly I stopped breathing,
Suddenly I realized my chance had passed.

I started to cry,
I started to weep,
I started to close up,
I started to hate my self for falling for you,

You couldn't take a hint,
You wouldn't understand,
You didn't know that those little things you did,
Made me smile the rest of my day.

And now it's gone,
And now it's over,
And now what never started ended,

For a first poem this is very good. It captures the way we feel when we love someone..like they're our whole world..and if they don't love us in return..our whole world stops. Yep!!! been there..done that...YOU capture that feeling well...sure it's yer first???

I love your poem it reminds me of things that happended in my past. it was a very good first poem keep writing!!!
