and though it may only be you there
it is because you’ve allowed yourself
to exist in that lonely space with me
where it is so cold.
That place of frozen blood
that you speak so harshly of
Does exist a Sun
that you control
The Moon is my fear of loss
so strongly wrenched
that it caused
those terrors to grow wild like weeds
and yet
they are still dreams
and fantastic
They’re measured in screams horrific
but nonetheless true…..
I have watched you, too
I have seen
all the times you allowed me to bleed
Trying to die
felt like saving someone else’s life
And to survive
I used your blood, too
as mine was never enough
to sustain my love for you
I am no Phoenix
I could never resurrect the passion
seduced away like the ashes
long ago
The cold and the snow
weighs more than the good and the bad that you feel
The bricks and cement
are what make us real
Change your mind if you will
but believe this to be true
Your blood is mine
and
Your breath is mine, too

When was there ever a union of souls without torment and struggle?
You have said all that well.

I'm not sure what to say. I love it! Do you realize that we brought life into our writing. I mean, we really did. It's been fleshed out by us. I don't know what to say. I love it!
