Please Don't Leave

Contributed by shortchics_rock_07 on Monday, 6th December 2004 @ 07:00:24 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I told you about my parents
and the fight that we had
but please dont do waht you have already thought of
it really wasn't that bad

Please dont leave.

I know you feel like you're the cause
and that you cause me alot of pain
but they use you because you're my weak spot
and it's mostly out of vain

Please Dont leave.

We've already been through alot of bad times
and i know they say us being together is wrong
but with a love like ours, we can make it through
we've already made it this long.

Please dont leave.

I know you want to do what is right
and what you think for me is best
but without the comfort of being with you
i'd never get any rest.

Please dont leave.

Baby, I believe you when you say
if it ever came to that you'd wait for me
trust me i'd do the same,
but it'd kill me if you left me be

please dont leave

Regardless of how much they make me hurt
there's nothing they could say or do
That could give me a worse of a feeling
than the pain of not being with you

Please dont leave

nothing is ever good enough for them
nothing I'll ever do
in my mind they're already gone
but please dont leave me too.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
