lies adarkness shattered and black,
darkened eyes and shivering,
looking for the sun,
inside his palm he holdes a heart,
a heart of broken glass,
with each oieces he stabs her within,
and makes her cry tears of tin,
she honds her chest,
were her heart used to lay,
cries to the angels,
'il have my day'
a resurection when she will learn to love again,
rise from the rooted pit,
rise from the darkened nest,
she'll rawn through the rose thorns and pick the bud a deep red rose,
shell put it behind her ears and will let it grow with her new will power,
feed on this determination,
and bloom out of her pain,
one day when she climbed a mountain,
she came to the top and looked across the bleak crimson skies,
she reached inside her spirit,
and let the blackness fly,
then a shudder came from the rose,
and a little fairy appeared,
the iron maiden swelled up with love for the little fairy and held her in her palms,
the fairy whispered, "thankyou for creating me, thankyou for helping me grow, now i have a gift for you"
the little fairy sprung down towards the iron maiden's face,
she cleared the dark soot from her eyes,
spread honey on her lips,
she cleansed her skin with her little wand and then flew onto her nose,
"iron maiden you have grown beautiful, more beautiful than the jewls of this earth"
the iron maiden chuckled a hollow laugh then wiped away a tear,
but what is this?
the tear was clear,
it was no longer thick and grey,
she looked into her reflection,
then saw a beautiful godess staring her way,
she gasped in delight and asked the fairy why,
the fairy told her,
now you have let go of your hate,
you have learned to love,
and now you have learned to love,
you have learned to love yourself,
now you are beautiful,
and now you can love another,
now you dont have to dwell on your painful path,
but travel to find a lover!
no longer will your name be iron maiden,
as your heart isnt made of lead,
you will be called Qwertalia,
the godess of reinventing your life!
Qwertalia leapt up with happiness,
she twirled with glee,
then together they set out,
to love and live happily,
and yes there will be highs,
yes there will be lows,
but know Qwertalia has a freind,
she can count on someone who knows,
so next time you walk in your garden,
and you see a deep red rose,
remember that sadness is never forever,
eventually the pain drifts away and goes,
think of those who love you,who think of you everyday,
though we may not live happily even after,
lets take each day by day...
