I want to die on a sunny day,
Where you cannot tell where the sky starts--
And Ends

I want to look into the Sky and
Get lost in it's vastness.
A slight breeze would caress my--
Bare calves, on a day no artist
Could ever paint

The Winter is cold, and miserable,
And dangerous, and slippery, and dark,
But--

The summer warms your Soul.

I want to, at the moment before, I die--
Look out from my driveway, at home,
And see my life--
As a child
Standing in the sun--
Looking--
Thinking--
What could I possibly do to live up
To this day

And then I'd look down the road
Past my neighboors' houses--
Into the green field and the green trees
And Up
And Up
Then--
I'd jump, but this time--
I would not land--
Up I would go--
And my body would fly through the air--
The earth could no longer hold me--
The blue sky flowed through me
And I'd be gone

I don't want to die in the Winter

I want to die in the summer--
And be forever grateful that I was

Beautiful!
The words are woven so well...simply and yet they have a lot of feeling and depth.
