Crushing my soul like autumn leaves
Capturing me on the border of illusion and reality
I carefully tread the thin line between sanity and lunacy
The latter turning my moods wine dark
And tearing apart all reasoning
Insomnia has taken ahold
Forcing me to sleep in cobweb strands
and praying for some sort of redemption
Until I have no choice but to let go

Know what that's like.
I discovered writing in 1979. Had to empty my over active brain somehow.
Once my brain is satisfied then I sleep.Sometimess it's hours then other times days/
Awesome masterpeice 2 us the other insomniacs.
lub, huggs, smiles,
emy

I thought this was strong and heavy - wonderful job depicting the smothering so well.

Thanks for sharing
