Array ( [sid] => 74278 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => the pain you see on the surface [time] => 2004-12-03 14:22:57 [hometext] => this is a pain song, sing it very slowly in a dark tone that drifts on--------------. [bodytext] => take it from me,
the pain that you see in my eyes,
is just on the surface,
try to look inside,
look inside and see,
that theres a whole new dimension,
of pain living in me,
when i wake from my sleep,
and i think of the promises i am forced to keep,
do you know how it is to plea in your prayers,
that tommorow will be your last day,
i dont want to be,
the one left behind,
picking up the pieces,
of a shattered heart,
i dont want to be,
the one in tears,
i dont want to even be me,
i want out,
but i need in,
i want blood,
but first i need skin,
dont forget,
that im alive,
but im not living,
if my words are behind disguise,
this is killing me,
to stand and watch you listen contently,
do my words mean anything,
or am i too deep into the outside's in?
this is killing me,
to see you stand looking blankly,
into my cold eyes,
tell me what do you see?
do you see yourself?
cos you wont see me,
ive left my body,
in search of this love i need to free,
dont turn and sigh,
i know you undestand what i mean,
just listen in,
remember the surface is all youve seen...
