Array ( [sid] => 74200 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The Pond [time] => 2004-12-02 22:04:05 [hometext] => It's kind of about a girl running away from her life because she didn't want it anymore. [bodytext] => Any joke, as she feared, from him had all the sweet agony of danger. As she washed later she thought of how pale her face looked in the mirror above the washbasin. It was not brown like his but wan and yellow. She tied her hair back with a ribbon and examined her features. She's very tall, very thin (almost anorexic like) round-ish face, and her fat like cheeks. As he reminded her that they still needed to talk she thought "Talk......That was the burden." for she was tired from the day's burden already. She longed for her large bed with the comfort of her room. As she talked with him it came later and now they both were very weary and dismissed themselves. As she slept that night she was awaken by a storm. She awoke jumping out of bed to see the gleaming beauties dancing and begging her to come. She ran out of the house to accompany them. They were all so beautiful. As she sees them coming closer to her she feels a relief come over her. She de-materializes and joins the dancing beauties. She floated into the depths of the pond. As the morning came and she was gone, he looked everywhere for her. Come to find her hanging above the pond that was now gleaming with light. She fell into it disappearing from all hells of earth. Never to be bothered again by the evil curse of life. At night during the storms you can see her. That's the only time he feels safe from harm. Sitting by the pond never to move until she returns to him. As he sits and wilts with age. She never returns and he falls into the pond himself drowned by life’s horrid terrors. No one weeps for them. They just lift their noses up in disgust. They shall never be together again as lovers.
