I am still wondering why you let me go.
Then one day out of the blue ,
I had the urge to call and say I love you.
The way I said it was obvious you see,
Because you only said Eu te Amo to me.
One week later late at night,
Something was different and didn't seem right.
You called me back which was a suprise,
You asked if it was me that called and I told you a lie.
You already knew it was me,
But you called to see if something could be.
You tried to act like you didn't care,
But I knew your voice it was like I was there.
You told me things that I wanted to hear,
If they are true or lies is what I fear.
Just remeber my love for you is forever endless,
Also remeber how it was when it was just us.
When we hang up I'll say my usual Eu tem Amo,
While a smile spreads across your face and say I love you too.

Almost 9 months down the road,
I am still wondering why you let me go.
Then one day out of the blue ,
I had the urge to call and say I love you.
