whilst wrapped in the Velvet blanket of Night,
To Hear those lost Songs of old played again Beneath A desert Moon…
To Remember Gentle breaths leaving delicately parted Lips..
Of the Feel of skin under my finger tips.
Of tendrils of sweetly perfumed hair..
Cascading like an Auburn waterfall Over a pillow.
Of mouths Wet with passion & lust…
Of tongues Dancing in our mouths…
Sliding & twisting like serpents in the dead, dead of night.
Of limbs wrapped around each other…
Hearts beating together.
Of you blooming Like a most precious & rare flower...
Of living eternity within that one moment.
Of the safety & warmness that was you…
..O, how I miss that feeling…
……But remember it; I do….

To Dream in Nostalgia..
whilst wrapped in the Velvet blanket of Night,

i love this!!! its so true and beautiful, the imagery is amazing. and i love the last two lines - a perfect ending to a wonderful poem. :) katie xx
