There towers a mighty Poet Tree..
Grown from a Beetle shelled seed of dreams & creativity.
Nurtured with care,
Fed with knowledge,
& watered with inspiration
during night dreams & day drowns...
Its trunk is swelled full with an age old wisdom..
Each day it's centre acquires another eternity ring...
Ancient..It's bark some whut weathered with rough emotion..
like the harlequin scales missing from an old moth's wings.
parts of the wood are charred black & crumble from times of stormy rage..
Where others are perfect, smooth...free from knots & gnarls where peaceful mindfulness has kept it safe.
It's Branches each Full of memory spiral outwards, coiling like serpentine..
intertwining, interlocking & dividing into even more elongated limbs..
Making sure there is at least a twig to contain the experience of every little thing.
It's winding system of roots are secure & always provided with source of nourishments..
as they are wrapped around My very heart...
& My soul can rest safely within a moss lined cradle created within the hollowed out parts.
There falling from the greatest heights Arrow shaped leaves chime as they land at my feet..
& Sparkling open blossoms...emit The scent of rotting meat.
..Times during thoughts of beauty their petals rain down like a crimson shower..
Or they wilt & melt sickly with the stench of burning flesh.. filling up the darkest hours.
This is my Poet Tree..with it's fortuitous producing of Ripened fruits of labor;
Round & white, miniature like ornamental orbs of pearlesent moonlight..
As they quickly grow too Heavy ..they fall to the ground cracking like glass eggs..
leaking milky liquid.. I peel the fragile shells back
& right there from their glowing middles the formed ideas i do extract....

That was so...poetic. It was so realistic and fitting, and your poem looked like a big tree to me as I was reading it...simply, wow...
