Array ( [sid] => 73732 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Holding Her Hand pt.II [time] => 2004-11-30 08:05:56 [hometext] => i feel this one portrays the feelings better [bodytext] => they say a picture is worth a thousand words
i think this is not true
for in my heart of hearts all i can say
is 'Elaine, how i love you'

though the words cant be returned
i hold on to some false hope
ill admit ive cried at night
burrying face in pillow as i mope

we were together for so long
she and i were special
we started out jokingly
and it developed into love

indeed we took it slow
three months to make out indeed
but i knew she was delicate
'like a flower she must be'

so soft was she
that in the night
id hug my pillow
holding it close and tight

so fun was she
that in the yard
we wrestled to and fro

from seventh grade
to tenth grade
boy we sure had a go

although i act whole again
a part of me is missing
i dont think ill be whole again
till i get what i am wishing

i wish for her to grace me
with her pleasant, pretty smile
for her to take me by the hand
and let us walk the mile*

*note* i met Elaine in the 7th grade in PE class, we would always walk the mile run together, hand in hand [comments] => 2 [counter] => 158 [topic] => 22 [informant] => skraggs [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
