[hometext] => I'm a 20 year old college student, I was engaged to someone and moving away to college ruined our relationship, and 9 months later im still in love with her but she has a new man. this is just one of the poems ive written her.
[bodytext] => More and more every day, I pray that this pain will soon go away. You're on my mind and in my heart, I knew I'd be in love with you from the start. I miss your kiss I miss your touch I miss the way you'd tell me you loved me so much When you'd put your arms around me and hold me tight Baby when you did that everything was alright I miss the way you'd lay your head on my shoulder and having conversations about when we grow older. I promised you that I'd never leave you, I kept my part of the deal, but I dont know about you. You love someone else and it hurts me so bad, I just dont understand how you can forget what we had. I miss the way you'd call me on the phone just to say I love you. That was just one of the sweetest things you could ever do. You were my life and my reason for living, I missed spending time with you on this past thanksgiving. I was very unclear of what to be thankful for, because the love of my life isnt my love anymore. I miss the way you would put your hand in mine, and the way you gave me a sweet kiss from time to time. I miss the night that we watched fireworks at the park, and Im sorry that I almost made you walk in the dark. I was scared to get on my knee and ask you to be mine forever, sometimes I even thought about putting it in a letter. But I wanted to make you the happiest girl alive, and the only way I could do that was to make you my beautiful wife. I pray every night that you'd come back to me, it's not gonna work.. God doesn't listen to me. I miss when we used to sit at your house playin the same video game, to go back to that, I would give up anything. I used to wish for you to be the mother of my baby My wish almost came true but your body said it wasnt meant to be Dont be sorry you're not the one to blame But I miss the way we'd sit around tryin to decide on its name I miss the way I'd hold you in the back of your dad's truck Now I see your boyfriend driving it and Im just like "what the *" I miss the way I'd do something stupid, just to make you laugh God why is it so hard for me to put this in my past I saw you in walmart the other day and I wanted to stop and say hey how ya been but we're so far away now I dont even feel like your friend you made my heart skip a beat and I just want you to know you really took my breathe away, I just didnt let it show You're so pretty and just so smart I cant believe how we fell apart but I just wanna say Ill always love you and that will never change I dont care what wes says, he can never love you the same I still think that you are the most beautiful girl in the world but I can only pray that one day you'll once again be my baby girl [comments] => 4 [counter] => 248 [topic] => 22 [informant] => jerrylee32 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )
