my eyes glued to the distance
memories trickling down
painting a bloody mosaic
that only takes me deeper
shards of a goodbye kiss
stain my lips
your absence only makes me weaker
so wretchedly blessed with remorse
Falling into bitter resignation
You captured what was once beautiful
and made it lovely
then left it shattered
