We stand for the red, white, and blue
This is our free land, and we love you.
The red for the blood that was shed
The blue for our thoughts that we dread.

The white, most important of all
These stripes that won’t let us fall.
It signifies one perfect thing
No surrender, our nation will sing.

Oh beautiful, for spacious skies
As tears pour down our red eyes
For amber waves of grain
Our faith in God does remain.

For purple mountain majesties
We’ll defend against our enemies
Our world will join with one hand
Together for our lives we stand.

Death was wrought on our soil
Now all of our hero’s must toil
To save the ones that we love
And to grieve the ones sent above.

These cowards who stole all this life
Will burn in their fiery strife
And their planners will pay their due
Armageddon is coming for you.

America will stand strong and proud
We will not be forced to the ground
We’ll go on together, you’ll see
‘Cause God shed his grace onto thee.

America, we’ve crowned our good
We’ve done it through brotherhood
From mountain to mountain we’re free
From our vast sea, to shining sea. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 467 [topic] => 8 [informant] => Joker17 [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AmericanTragedy )
