Surrounded in walls of flesh,
Struggling imprisoned souls,
Hands stretch forth pleading,
Trapped within torments grasp,

Each swimming in aguish,
Erupting gangrenous ooze,
From their pores it weeps,
Tortured eyes at me staring,

This path is mine to walk,
Tasting the bitterness of defeat,
Wading through blood,
Deep red and innocent,

Nightmares caress embraced,
Nourishing my eternal thirst,
Quenching a hunger for life,
Feasting upon deaths hoard,

Hopeless cries echo in this tomb,
Haunted souls fighting for release,
Each face I gaze upon set in stone,
Another painted in internal loss,

Darkness hides my sorrow,
Drenched in deaths shadow,
Forever losing a bit more,
Slipping deeper into my curse.

It's an ok write, though in my opinion the second verse doesn't fit into it.

Great write I love to see how dark a person can go. To see the side of the blackest soul which in my mind is the whitest snow. "GREAT WRITE"

Well...

I think it all fits together perfectly, including the second verse/stanza or whatever you want to call the bloody thing. This is an amazing write and I hope you are going to grace us all with more of your work soon.

Take care
- Becca

I love poetry that is able to move me and
this is no exception. It's very deep and
emotional. Sad, but a poem well
worth the read.
Great job!

This poem was very deep and powerful. Nicely chosen words. The first part reminds me of the cave outside of ursula's lair with the little souls needing help on The Little Mermaid but about 5 times worse...
