To eat her wicked granny
She told the 3 bears where she lived
They helped with all the planning
Red, she was no innocent
She led the gingerbread man astray
Quite happily skipping down the road
He disappeared one day
The 3 billy goats gruff had seen him
Talking to Miss Red
She’d asked him where he was going
And said, “Come with me instead”
Well the gingerbread man thought his luck was in
So he quite happily followed
She took him to her house
And all of him she swallowed
Red was desperate to get married
She tried it on with the 3 little pigs
Again the wolf was helping her
By blowing up their digs
She’d threatened them with violence
When all 3 of them refused
Word was getting round
Red Riding Hood’s bad news
All she wanted was a lover
Started looking further afield
Saw Jack climbing up his beanstalk
Her love was finally sealed
But after just a short time
She gave up trying with Jack
All he did was count up his pennies
And on his butt he sat
Aladdin was a foreigner
She really wasn’t sure
Red tried him out anyway
But he bored her to the core
Walking along a country lane
She met up with Cinderella
She didn’t really trust Little Red
Was always stealing her fella
Red, she needed excitement
So on her travels she went
Spying Mr Prince Charming
Over Sleeping Beauty, was bent
“No!” cried Red “Don’t do it!!
It’s me you’re looking for”
Prince Charming looked up in surprise
And thought “Not that little whore!
I’ve heard that she’s a maneater
And desperate to get wed
She’ll not have an opportunity
To get inside MY head”
He kissed his Sleeping Beauty
They rode off into the hills
Red just sat there miserably
And started downing pills
The 7 dwarfs they found her
And took her to Snow White
Watched over her very closely
But she slipped into the night
The last anyone had heard of her
She was plaitting Rapunzel’s hair
Peter Pan was a frequent visitor
We all know what’s going on there!!

Gosh - it's so nice to read something light and creative. This entire piece is adorable and "By blowing up their digs"--- I love that line! Great job!

I have to confess, though---- I'm dying to know what happens to Red in the end! I mean... she must have gotten bored with Peter at some point, right???

Delightfully entertained,
~SNM~

This was a really poem. I liked it because it was funny and cute, the kind of story you would never see in a fairytale. Great job!
