watching the people go by
I sit by the window
wondering why

I sit by the window
thinking about my life
I sit by the window
with a sharp knife

I sit by the window
as i cut through my skin
I sit by the window
as i let my emptyness win

I sit by the window
as my life starts to fade
I sit by the window
as my soul begins to stray

I sit by the window
alive no more
I sit by the window
with my wrist tore

Good write, a lot of emotion put into this. Sometimes changing your perspective, like looking in through the window, can bring new understanding to everything. Keep writing.

Very good write. Your words spoken for so many who are empty and lonely. Sitting by the window watching life go by. I have felt this plenty of times. But things do get better. "GOOD WRITE"

very good write!
the funny thing is, i just finished writing something that just came to my mind, that had to do with somebody sitting by a window clenching a knife, except with a different perspective i guess...
but I must say, though this poem is short, it is really well written and very well detailed!
Great write, keep up the goor work!

p.s see you at school tomorrow ^.~
