Glimmer of Hope.

Contributed by little_genna on Wednesday, 24th November 2004 @ 02:18:54 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Across the line...the shadows fall...
As I walk in the darkness I feel so small
The night engulfs all but a small candlelight
I strive to carry on; alas it takes all my might
Each step I take, hoping to come closer
To the next life chapter.

The Little flame flickers in the distance...
Yet, for now the air is filled with a dense silence.
One little light surrounded by despair
Something about this light will never compare
Unfazed by the cold winds, it burns...
Even as the violent dark tries to return
The flame ignites the fire within...
As a new part of life is about to begin
With a heart full of this eternal light...
The darkness becomes illuminated with moonlight
....that guides the souls in its sight...

SJ & Mangs
