Breaks In Little Pieces

Topic: LostLove

oh the proverbial bad boy the charm he does possess
he says what you want to hear the pleasures he gives
his promises you believe a con man he is to the end
he will sweet talk you all the time to get what he wants
we fall every time till our heart breaks in little pieces

we fall for their charm they know how to push the buttons
we are enthralled by the billy the kid syndrome no logic
we believe we can change them make them good a challange
but in the end it is our heart and pocketbook that is broken
we fall every time till our heart breaks in little pieces

how our logic suddenly wears blinders is beyond me but it does
we dont see any of their faults even when society does we dont
we ignore what we see the signs become invisible to our eyes
but the proverbial bad boy remains to enchant our imaginations
we fall every time till our heart breaks in little pieces

how de we fall into the trap how can we not see what they are
they possess a form of charisma for some personalities like mine
a mothering spirit a soul in need of love the desire for adventure
these all draw the bad boy to them the trap is set for the crime
we fall every time till our heart breaks in little pieces
