Array ( [sid] => 7282 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => COLD I AM [time] => 2002-11-22 20:00:00 [hometext] => [bodytext] => Sometimes I feel,
Inside,
So torn apart.

There's no place to hide,
When you have no heart.

Shows on the outside,
When love is torn to shreds,
From the start.

Cold I am.
Cold as stone.
Cold I am.
Cold to the bone.

Winter is the season,
In my heart.
An' it won't thaw out.

Tryin' to reach through,
Touch you,
But there's a wall of ice.
An' I can't break through.

My heart's cold as stone.
From being all alone.

Dien' from tryin',
To find love in time.

Emotions all tied up in knots.
Goin' down in flames,
From takin' too many shots.

Lack of feelings,
Don't feel the same.
Feeling nothin',
In my brain.

Don't feel lovin'.
Don't feel pain.

So hard to live life,
Feelin' like you've already died.

Through all the struggle an' strife,
Wonderin' why?
Why haven't I cried?

Feelin' the cold sharp knife,
Stabbin' from the inside.

Cold I am.
Cold as stone.
Cold I am.
Cold to the bone.

Winter is the season,
In my heart.
An' it won't thaw out.

Tryin' to reach through,
Touch you,
But there's a wall of ice,
An' I can't break through.

Always refusing,
Love that was there.

Was I being selfish,
Wanting more than my share?

Always pondering,
Why no one seemed to care.

Always wondering,
Why no one wanted to play fair.

Always hiding,
Safe behind the walls I built there.

Always questioning,
What I felt in the air.

Love.
A simple and refined,
Torture of the mind.
Masochistic by nature.

Love.

Blind.

Hard to find.

But it can also be,
Your savior.

Cold I am.
Cold as stone.
Cold I am.
Cold to the bone.

Winter is the season,
In my heart.
An' it won't thaw out.

Tryin' to reach through,
Touch you,
But there's a wall of ice.
An' I can't break through.
