Begging towards the starlight for a full meaning a full person with a full life and full of feelings.
Empty shallow night and all that endures it.
Not a night for reckoning - not my night at all.
We are just wanting... always more than we deserve.
Always taking, taking until theres no much left to give.
This life we lead of our very own is out of our control...
We all do the pitiful things that we do then we die and don't really make an impact at all.
What's the point of living then you say...
I was never really good at anything in the first place. I have to say, so far this is most definitely my favorite. I love the parallel structure of the first two lines, and the flow is quite nice. The only problem is, it's just so cynical. I may not make a large impact on the world at large, but I have made one on *my* world. Just ask my friends.
