While others around me were acting like fools
It was to honor academic success
But I felt like I was being suppressed
Then the most unlikeliest of events happened today
For I heard angels sing along my way
Loveliest of voices feathery and soft
Sent my soul flying, sent it aloft
Like the rising of the sea and arrows of air
The melodies these voices gave were beautiful and fair

These came from people of flesh
With whom I've never meshed
But yet their voices moved me so
And now I really don't know....
Above the sky, past pearly gates
Do angels exist outside our fates?
Are our miracles the one they create?
Are our sadness and sins the ones they negate?
For now I'm left wondering if they truly exist
And if they do what have I risked?
Through our flesh and blood they project their thought
Through flesh and blood this world they've brought
Unto a time when we can exist side by side
And our secrets no longer do we have to hide..

So they exist, not hidden in mists
Just found in the dreams and lover's first kiss
So now I thank them for their projections
Of happiness and peace and for their corrections
Of the wrongs and rights and the living and the dead
So now I'll shut up since no more need be said...
