Array ( [sid] => 72611 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => RUBY TEARS [time] => 2004-11-21 21:18:48 [hometext] => THIS WORLD IS HEARTLESS AND CRULE TO UNLEASH A MAN WHO WOULD ABUSE HIS OWN CHILDREN BACK TO HIS OWN HOME. [bodytext] => Red ruby tears cry
From eyes of fear

As dreams from that night
Reappear
Which never really did disappear

Screams unheard
As the terror returns

He has come home again
With open arms
He is given another chance

The memories
The hate of so long ago

Why would?
How could?

Her mother even take him back
After the things he has done
To her and to her sanity

Father
NO
Not mine

He is evil
He has return to finish the crime

Locks upon her door
Sleep shall be no more
Gripping her pillow
Rocking back and forth
Living in total fear

As her father appears
At her door

Screams still go unheard
And life now is more hellish
Than before

Will they listen as before
Or just be ignored like so many
Times before.

This is horrible to hear such a person would be released and go back to his family. Great poem - simple lines and strong emotion.

Very hard to understand how anyone can hurt their children so. Or anyone else for that matter. Great poem.
Love, MaDonna
