My life lays in pieces on the ground.
A collage of pain and misery sums up life;
Every dream shattered, all hopes have broken.
The happy times outweighed by the depressing.
I no longer wish for anything other than sanity.

I once wished death would meet me soon;
I wept each night knowing I would wake.
Though the darkness provided temporary comfort,
Nothing could help the pain of another day.
All that remained for me in life was disappointment.
Death?s ambling about had made me angry.

A mind filled with dark thoughts is where I lived;
It is a place I?d rather not visit ever again.
My life now has meaning, I have a reason to live.
Now I weep at night hoping I will wake again.
Turning from one mind to another in a day,
All it took was a smile that shone through the dark.

I knew lots of artists once. Some of them were nice...some of them were alchoholic pigs who had no respect for anything or anyone, which brings me to the conclusion that, yes, even artists are human ^_^
I like this, pain is something everyone feels, just some are more sensitive to it than others, which is why were here, isn't it?
