No longer,
This hand
Is warm
So I
Suggest
You take it
From me
And fill
Your
Empty
Heart,
I can’t
Stop the
Bleeding
But I can
Sure put
Pressure
On your
Wounds
And I know
You can’t
Change,
But I can
Surely
Help you
Bloom
I’ll plant
You by
My side
Our names
Engraved
In stone
So let’s
Just hope
That
Without
Life
We can
manage
to grow

I liked it too. These lines are especially cool

I can’t stop the bleeding
But I can sure put
Pressure on your
Wounds

As a former abuse counsellor, these lines are so apt for that kind of pain as well. Good stuff. I'm surprised by some of the crap that gets multiple reads on this site while poems like this slip quietly to the back pages.
