with every step she takes
all the trees they start to crowd her
as she begins to shake
where she is, she's not so sure
as the ground it rolls and quakes
somewhere along, she lost the allure
a bit just past the lake
of all the walls, she'd prefer one fewer
an ante she'd trade or stake
two cards back her heart's askewered
she's all done trying what she cannot make
siren's rage it hasn't a cure
the least of which no one will take
all they've ever wanted is to just do her
and they'll even settle for only cake
by their tomorrow she won't be any newer
while yesterday she ran out of ways to ache
she can't find any one to cue her
no one's ever around to wake
she knows she took the wrong detour
'cause over the coals she's been raked
she asks how much can she endure
and this is all for who's sake
she needs to find what she knows to be truer
if she can just weed out all the fakes...... [comments] => 2 [counter] => 169 [topic] => 48 [informant] => jaeann [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )

Very well written. I like this, it's a very powerful write. Other than that I'm not sure what to say... I hope things get better in the future.
