[Break] The child hides herself, Behind scary masks. Doesn't want to show the world, Who she really is. Why she shed's tears, That's the question we ask. A child's prayer, And the question's last. Word's from a child, That's the child's prayer. Sweet word's of the innocent, The stories that they tell. The lost tears, A child's prayer. Which roll down her face, What does she fear? Sliding on a thin sheet of ice, life's the dangerous lake. Up in her room, upon her window seal. Tear stains on her cheeks, she cries out to the moon. "Take me far away, take me out of here.
