I stood in black darkness that only my eyes could see.
Looking for something to fill the space inside of me.
I thought of this desicion and realized all the gain.
I looked towards the heavens and called upon your name.
I fell down to my knees and humbly took my place.
I cried out to God and thanked him for his grace.

A scream within my soul of pain and lost I came.
I admited I was a sinner and I wanted to change.
I comitted the rest of my life to glorify your name.
Then said that I believed that Christ died and rose after three days.

God of Ages you looked down with a smile upon your heavenly face.
The hardness in my heart lifted immediantly on that day.
I knew that my life was now changed.

For now I am written in your book of life.
I can't wait to go to heaven and walk along your side.
Oh,God of love and wonder I praise your holy name.
Now as my duty I live by your word each day.
You stengthen the weak and cast down the proud.
In times of suffering I now have the Son of God to help me out.

Oh, what a blessing and a story to proclaim!
I now have Christ the Lord to live with each and every day.

Dude, cool poem. I hope your walk with God is going well. Just remember it is not going to be easy times and roses, it is going to be hard and painful, but God is good, and God is there.
