Where are you?

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Where are you?
My stomach turns to knots
My eyes well up with fear
Where are you?
I need you right now
I need you to hide me, and hold me and care
I need you to be with me
And console me
And pull me up from down here.
Where are you?
Please god don’t take her away
Don’t make her despise me
Hate me and deride me
And push me away
Don’t make her ignore me
Throw away her soft feelings for me
And scorn upon me from above
Down to here.
Where are you?
You said you would stay by my side
And I hoped I could trust you
And look up to you, and confide
But now as im screaming
Im just hoping you hadnt lied
Like all the other people
Who were once by my side.
Where are you?
Im getting desperate to see your face
To hear your comforting words
To stop crying in your embrace
But I cant see you
And its too dark to know if your watching me
Im guessing im alone down here
Im guessing that’s something I can guarantee.
Where are you?
Please, please don’t leave me behind
You said you wouldn’t let me fall
Or let me fall too deep inside
But now look, im in as far as I can go
And I still am hoping for you
Still hoping you’ll show.
Where are you?
Im beginning to give up hope.
But if you really are gone,
Theres something you should know
I really do love you
And care for you, its true
Even when im feeling so lost and so blue
And when I said I was watching out for you
Well I meant that too
No matter what I say and no matter what I do
So please, plese, don’t leave me behind.
You said you wouldn’t let me fall
Or let me fall too deep inside
But now look, ive fallen as far as I can go
And I will continue to wait here
Until the day that you show.
