Ok now where did you go?
In the kitchen for a crumb on the floor,
Now crawling to the front door,
Stop at the mirror to see yourself smile,
You are really moving along in style,
I cant believe youll soon walk,
and all the words you'll say when you talk,
Your growing so fast right before my eyes,
I look at pictures and mommy starts to cry,
how tiny you once were now getting so strong,
walking now just wont take long,
Then my baby wont be a baby no more,
But with you & the boys lifes never a bore!
Your brothers are always there at your side,
watching you crawl with stride,
And at the end of the day,
Mommy watches you sleep and pray,
that tomorrow youre day will be safe & secure,
and I'll put bumbers on the furniture!

Aww thank you for your comment on "little girl" This is so sweet! Very discriptive of how scary and happy it can be when your little one starts being so indepentent.

I've got one at the exact same stage. Watch out for that first knot on the head from trying to satnd alone! It is wonderful and your poem wonderfully expressed the feelings all mommies know so well.
