A prayer of hope for healing
I got my answer in a way
That was quite revealing

Silly loving longing hurting
A year of sadness without sleep
More wretched than I knew
A day for me to weep

She came to me in beauty
A secret God had kept
And I forgot that evening
That I had then so wept

Time had ceased to be
A lifetime in an hour
I held her not too tight
Gods unlimited power

And when I spoke to her today
It could not be denied
This angel gone forever
I had been shoved aside

A gift from God I cherish
Though he gave then took away
His wisdom always perfect
To know her just a day

To her I raise my glass
To God I give my thanks
She healed a wounded spirit
And He comforted my angst

God answers all who ask
In His own mysterious way
Be it with a miracle
Or my beauty for a day [comments] => 3 [counter] => 143 [topic] => 31 [informant] => recompile [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => StoryPoetry )

IF I wrote a poem what should I call it--Angelchild.
A sad and beautiful write.
To have a child for just awhile,
But to have the faith knowing she is in loves light.
Beautifuly done.May His peace always shadow you.

No matter what people say about God negatively, its these kinds of things that have to scream out at u, saying there has to be more to this world, and I'm glad you're so aware of that. A very touching and inspiring read, to say the least.
