Array ( [sid] => 71878 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Waking You With A Kiss [time] => 2004-11-16 22:25:00 [hometext] => this is a work of fiction but is true in part i have a friend whose habits scare me very much and i do not want to lose her [bodytext] => I see you there deeply sleeping and I fall for you again

I listen in to hear you breathing and feel complete

But I hear nothing maybe I am too far away

Your faded red hair falls over and reveals your face

I can see that you cried yourself to sleep again

Your black mascara still in the path where your tears rained down

Cascading over your beautiful face and rosy cheeks and pale skin

Like sherry blossom leaves over the snow with a sunset taking place

I put my face to yours with the intention of waking you with a kiss

My lips meet yours in a sweet unity but I can not feel your breathe

I look at your wrist and see no new scars and feel them for a pulse

And I feel nothing at all and start to panic so I rip your shirt open and

Put my face to your chest to see if I can hear it beating but cannot

I look over your bed to that counter and see your pills on it

And I knew what I have to do I pick you up into my arms

I carry you to the floor and try to get your heart beating hoping it is not too late

I breathe into your mouth my whole life and finally start to feel you breath again

But you still do not awaken so I pick you up onto my arms again and

Take you into the bath and turn on the cold water letting it fall on us both

I am so lucky that I was on time but still too late to keep you safe

Your eyes open and look at me then you pass our again

I turn the water off and dry us off a bit just to get you into my car

Once in my car I drive off to the hospital going eighty on the free way

A cop pulls me over and I tell him that you overdosed but are still alive

He asks me on what and I tell him I am not sure but I think you where snorting percaset

He lets me go and escorts me to the hospital and we both start to speed again

We rush in and there are doctors waiting for us already in place

They strap you to a bed and put needles into your arms

And they rush you away from me to where I cannot follow

An hour later a doctor come and tells me where your room is

So I go there and you are still asleep but the nurse there tells me you are stable

And that I got you there in time before it got severe

I sit by you in bed holding you hand and keeping you warm

And start to think how you could do this to me

But then remember that I never told you how I really felt

I guess it is in part my fault

Maybe it is my entire fault it almost always is

A few hours pass and

You open your eyes and look at me

And asked me what happened

I tell you that you took my chance away

To wake you with a kiss but that you are safe

And that I never left your side

You start to remember that you where snorting percaset

And tell me that I saved you and call me your Angel

And fall asleep again

I guess I will get my chance after all

As the tears flow down my cheek, wow...

Caught me up with the romance at the beginning. and the on edge because of the pain and worry. and then a relief that everything will be ok.. and the most romantic verse is that you desire to have that chance again.... thought that your too good for this lady... dont mean to sound mean but... you have gone through alot...sandy

It is just so wonderful
