I hate myself for it every day
I just wanted to make your pain go away
But as I was trying to help you rise
and as I began to see hope in your eyes
I got hooked on the "problem" too
and I had to face the addiction with you .

but it was I who held my head in shame

Wow I really like the ending very inspiring, its giving me the chills on how wrote this I give this 5/5.

Ok I think I get this you wrote the first part and
Pink Floyd wrote the second part. Anyway I
loved this poem it was filled with so much
ache and hurt and just written with honesty
and straight from the heart. I loved it *goes to
read it again*
