Broken Fallen Wings

Contributed by MysticFireFairy on Tuesday, 16th November 2004 @ 04:37:06 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Loving arms have left me in my past.
I feel sadness in my heart.
Pain, lonelyness, sadness, and fear,
Fill my life with emptyness.

My careless unfulfilled teacher,
Fills my dreams with sorrow.
Madness fills my life with neglect,
And has broken my wings to fly.

Fighting to fly away from this tourment,
I believe these dreams that I once heard
Those loving arms that held me tight so long age,
That those dreams of her that I did.

I killed her!
I want to be hidden from the light of day,
To be ride of this horrible past.
Help me! to fly again my black wings of toucher.

This treacherous fool who has hurt me so.
I will have my revenge on his soul,
Savior to the older light angel...
But revenge is for those who have no future.

Now as the older light angel guides me,
I forget my past and move to the future.
My life is no open book...
So my past will stay where it is.

And so my story must come to an end,
So my broken wings will heal,
Then I will fly away...
With the older light angel and leave my past forever alone.

So now I'm with the bright lights of the rainbow,
Each of them taking me away from darkness.
As they bring me forward to the future...
My past is being forgotten.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
