If you were to open it, empty is how you'd find it
But, to me, it's not empty at all
It keeps my secrets, my dream, my hopes, and all
My mom gave it to me when I turned four
A place to keep all the things I hold dear, is what it's for
The empty locket is the keeper of my heart
Unless I find truelove; from the locket I'll never part
The only other person meant to have my locket is my truelove
A love that is as true as the beauty of a dove
I know my truelove is out there waiting to be found
My truelove is out there, I know he is around
Even though I've not found him yet
I'll look forever if I have to, and never regret
No matter how long it takes I will find him
We will be together forever, once I've found him
But until that day
Around my neck is where the empty locket will stay [comments] => 6 [counter] => 236 [topic] => 25 [informant] => ShadowsCloud [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => MiscPoems )

This is such a beautiful write
Just make sure that when you
find your true love that you are his
true love as well and that you both
are going to be together for ever
I'd hate to see you lose your locket
to a game player. Thanks for sharing
this one i enjoyed it alot

I totally agree with the other comments on this one Candice.
It's a wonderful write you've created here.
Cherish your own heart as you do this lovely gift from your Mom and you will be very happy!

Just continue to be as strong as I know you already are Candice!

With love
Dean:-)
