My eyes will be the end of me

I see too much that I do not want to

My eyes are no grand position

They are something no one can ever love

Filled with darkness that is inside me

Vague and ambiguous shades of brown

Eyes that I wear like maquillages that are not me

You can’t see my soul in them they are too dark

If only they were beryl instead

Then I would feel differently about them

Brown a dominant color not belong not fitting me

I weak and have lost hope and they have no light

No fire burns in them like they once did

I have died inside and my eyes show that

My eyes are deformed and ugly

They are fitting of my face but not my soul

Or maybe they are maybe my soul is as black as them

And there is a part of it that has yet to be revealed

Deeply hidden and too well concealed

Maybe I am like Jekyll and Hyde

I do not know what evil my soul hides

That escapes through my eyes and shows the world

Or maybe they reveal how weak I am an how prone to cling I am

Maybe these are the reason that no one can love me

Why so many stay away and leave me behind broken

What ever I am people can see it in my eyes

That’s why I hate them most of all that I hate about me

Sometimes I wish to burn them out

My own thoughts run along in that path sometimes too. There's no worse feeling than hating oneself, in my opinion. I hope things get better for you so that your eyes will shine as much as your talent does.

Take Care
