Sir, To Me

Contributed by jaeann on Monday, 15th November 2004 @ 06:51:15 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

......when there isn't any sign
and there hasn't been a call
my eyes no longer shine
and I stumble toward the fall
wanna feel so fine
need to feel so tall
crave that time of mine
on his energy I'll enthrall
conversation without a line
from a man that has the gall
everywhere there is a sign
to just let him inside my wall
aching to seem like a nine
and walk the lighted hall
so I'm waiting on that line
with bated breath for the call.....

I liked the line structure and rhythm of this
poem. I enjoyed it especially because I too
am waiting for a call... although not from a guy
lol. Good poem...
