At once both overjoyed and crushed,
A moment tearing that relieves
Happy, sad, all curled up
No drink for cheers or grieves
Like sweet and sour, with the twice the power
A world's essence, delightful dour
The faintest ripping hinting in the heart
To carry on, but end up wrong
Yanked forward, left and right
To have to act, when all the facts
Will pull your dreams apart;
Not knowing how, but knowing now
And stuck between two paths
The frailest smile, of dreamer's isle
His heart two broken halves...
