Array ( [sid] => 71308 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => the final step [time] => 2004-11-13 03:18:40 [hometext] => This poem is something that i had just really experienced, after a break up in a serious relationship, i was finally able to move on, and thats what this is about [bodytext] => It is the dreams you can't ignore
the ones u can't forget
the dreams thats hard to stomach
the ones you can't admit
You thought things were perfect
but how can u be sure
when you search to find the reasons
and find she wasnt pure
you can cry away your worries
and fight away the pain
but the hardest part of love
is when u finally walk away
after months of pain and anger
disturbance is finally there
when you suddenly come to senses
and realize it wasnt fair
you had always asked for the chance
for you to re-unite
but things will never get better
that chance would only be inspite
now its time
for this long goodbye
to finally come to end
so just take the chance
and begin to advance
from the love that was just pretend [comments] => 3 [counter] => 183 [topic] => 22 [informant] => cooley27 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

This one hit me hard because i've been there. I'm so glad to see someone put what I couldn't at the time into words. It is a pain that is somewhere between heart & stomach that follows you around day after day and it is then you feel the true meaning of lonely and you question if it was ever really love.

The title and the poem said so much and was emotionally packed.

Felt the pain and the burn deep within my heart, your words dredged up memories of past hurts, yet they were and showed pure strength and conviction to path chosen, beautifull written.
