I cannot begin to describe.
I only know this feeling
is trapped deep inside.
My world is so cold and dark
light I cannot see.
A saddened person
I'll always be.

I cry salty tears
no one sees.
This prison I'm in
Will never set me free.

Curled up in a ball
I slowly die.
Never really knowing
the real reason why.

A helpless child
I have become.
Waitng for entry in
my Fathers black kingdom. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 165 [topic] => 32 [informant] => deadheadpoet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

That indeed is a sad poem, but very beautifully written. I understand what you're going through (although I don't exactly know WHAt you're going through, I know how it feels to be hurt), as I am going through a very rough time right now. I'm glad that you've gotten through everything, and I really hope you keep on writing! You've got talent, this poem flows without seeming to be 'overdone'.... nice one.
