[bodytext] => Why oh why can’t I just be happy?’ It’s my birthday & I am feeling crappy, My heart is trying its hardest to beat, But still it lies down at my feet. Is someone trying to make me feel sad? Because right now I feel quite bad, Depression can’t leave me alone even on my special day, Please, please can’t someone make it go away? I just want to feel as light as air, I have so much love & nice things to share, Happiness is not something that’s on my cards, It has wandered away from me so very far. I was a fool to think that it would give me a day off, That I thought in my face unhappiness wouldn’t scoff, But it has just as always, never leaving me alone, It’s always there right at the end of my phone. Laughing at me telling me that I’m no good, It just seems that pain runs through my blood, I smile but it doesn’t really reach my eyes, All I feel like doing is having a right good cry. But it’s my birthday I want to feel so great, I want to find so much joy on my plate, I’m sorry to everyone that I am feeling so down, I seem to have lost the jewel from my crown.
