flying high in the clouds one moment,
soul blazing in flames the next.
Feelings continuously rotate around one factor.
God, how could I let it?
All of my morals, all my beliefs,
vanish into thin air,
transform into sand,
seep through the cracks in the floor.
Cracks that imitate a heart, broken into a million pin-sized pieces.
Hands reach out, blindly grope the floor... have to find those pieces.
Blood seeps through trembling fingers.
No end in sight to my heartbreaking anguish.
Why can't I let go? Why can't I say goodbye?
How could I let myself be "just another stupid girl"?
The broken shambles of my heart quake in their hiding places,
refusing to let me give up.
The butterflies residing in my stomach only flutter when hes near.
Feeling my soul in flames,
hoping he returns again,
so I can fly in the clouds. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 13 [informant] => jenny21614 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

this seems to be the worlds unanswerd question..your poem is very discriptive..it leaves me grinning; not at your situation, but because I have the same problem. No matter how old we are..we never have that answer.
Time..look for somone else..that's what everyone tells me. hahah..that was last December when I started asking? Now it's next November..I'm still asking~

wow powerful write but very well expressed.. I think if this guy can make you feel down and bad then he isn't worth it.. find someone who will make you feel good ... trust me there is someone out there

Peace and hope
