and think of you,
I remember me seeing it,
I know what to do.

I point it to me,
and something goes boom,
I don’t know what happened,
but know that I’m doomed.

I see you walk in,
you run over to me,
why do you cry?
what do you see?

I close my eyes,
and then I see me,
I’m drifting away,
and now I see.

I lay on the ground,
with blood on my head,
your crying so hard,
knowing I’m dead,

I remember that day,
I saw it on the ground,
I remember you telling me,
don’t pick up what you found!

I now drift further,
away from the floor,
and now I realize,
that I was only 4. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 142 [topic] => 39 [informant] => givingin [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )

you have painted a convicting, horrific scene here... we really need to make sure we are more careful of our possessions

now this is some excellent stuff!
it's dry and quite vivid, but still good.
sad messege, but it's good you've raised it as a topic!
hopefully it will make people think!
