little Justice incubator three
We layed next to each other in our little cubes,
I really couldnt see you with both had so many tubes
Our mommies used to talk and sometimes even cry,
wasnt it hard when the nurses said its time to say good bye
We both weighed two pounds we were so small,
but the funny thing was we werent afraid at all
Mommy told me that we were both angels sent from above,
I really felt it to God gave us his love
Mommy told me that your eyes werent able to see,
but I knew in my litlle heart you were able to see me
Lights out now its time to go to sleep,
Savannah are you okay your machines startin to beep
Bad news Mommy told me you werent doin so good,
you needed more oxygen they placed under a hood
Your brians not workin right is what Mommy said,
you tried so hard to breathe your cheeks turned red
Your mommy decided she didnt want you to struggle any more,
she turned to God askin to let his little angel sore
Your mommy placed you in a beautiful dress with lace and flowers,
she held you in her arms so tight during your finally hours
They took out your machines you wrre finally free,
guess what Savannah soon you will be able to see
Mommy told me you looked like an angel I believe you are,
although you werent lyin next to me I know your still not far
Good night Savannah now take Gods hand,
you will be safe now in his promise land
I will miss you but I know youll always be there,
you were sent to be my angel before you were even aware [comments] => 4 [counter] => 155 [topic] => 39 [informant] => Justice3310 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 15 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Grief )
