what's left is a way missing something that's there
so i'm stuck in this moment but not near forever
with patience in time to circumstance i'm unaware

an artist, a poet
he shys away from life worth living
he held all his composure
and all the he could...
amounting nothing

so i wait in certainty that this thing will now pass
the dawning never comes and again i come last
last, last...

so he breaks down, and breaks out
he cries out to anyone who can start to listen
he held to a supposition
and all that he could...
amounting nothing

"he feels alone
his heart in his hand
he's alone
he feels alone
I feel...."

so he breaks down, and breaks out
he cries out to anyone who can start to listen
he held to a supposition
and all that he could...
amounting nothing
